Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

MASSIVE childhood dream moment! I got word recently from Paramount Pictures that I was in the running to create a mural for “Transformers : Rise of the Beasts” red carpet event. Due to delays & scheduling issues, the mural wasn’t able work. These things happen, but honestly, what an absolute honour to even be considered. Here’s the mock-up I created along with a vision of how it could be displayed at the big event!

TMNT 40th Anniversary

Coming up as an artist, these are the moments you dream of, and if you’re lucky they actually come true. Late last year I was approached by Paramount Worldwide (which, at first I thought was some kind of horrible prank) to create a piece celebrating (@tmnt ) The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 40th anniversary. An artist from each country was selected, and I made the cut to represent Canada! WHAT!? The folks from Paramount were amazing & gave me full creative freedom to draw the guys however I wanted - of course fighting over pizza seemed like the natural creative direction. 😝

As an 80’s kid, I was literally raised on Ninja Turtles so working from nostalgia + injecting my own style = a piece I’m super proud of. Vibrant, fun, and true to the TMNT brand. Thankyou to the entire @paramountpics team + Autumn Carson who has put up with numerous “...can I share this yet?” lol.
